loved this game. Loved the humor, the lore, the sprite designs. The combat became very easy by the end of the game. If there's more in the future, I hope it gets a bit more challenging.
I really like the characterization of Tito and Meilini. If there's any more coming in the future, I hope we get more interactions between the characters. The ability to talk to your party members might be fun, as its apparent that one of the strengths of this game and probably Hirotonfa's creativity in general is the clever and endearing writing.
The open-ended nature of the game makes me think there might be more in the future, and I hope that's the case.
My only question is: is there supposed to be a level up system? in both of my playthroughs i never noticed anyone level up. It would be cool if leveling up gave the magic characters access to new magic. Just wondering if this was supposed to be the case.
Hey, thanks! I'm glad you liked the character writing so much. It was always a joy to write the next scene of dialog once the faces were already drawn (which is sometimes the opposite process with comics).
I might return to game-making one day, as it is a fun way to engage in storytelling to me.
There is no level-up system in this game, as I was experimenting with the idea of having only a skill-buy system. In the future, I might have the skill-buy system be purchased with XP points instead of with gold/silver.
I love seeing artists I follow branch into other mediums for telling their stories, seeing how to best show their art and tell their stories. The decision to explore this world via an RPG instead of a comic seems like a good one. Not only do I want to see more of the world, I want to actively explore it.
Favorite moment was probably the conversation between Tito and Meilini at the top of the tower.
Just spent a couple hours playing and I dig the fuck out of it, I'd followed Ponte Historia for a while before this so it's cool having sumn playable with that setting. Also, I dont know if it's a bug or if there's something I'm missing, but Korlin gave me a second copy of Tito's passport and I can't seem to pay the barkeep back.
Edit, turns out I paid him multiple times and I can't take the donkey with me either
Really nice little game, it's cool how there are a bunch of different paths to beat the game. The minimalist pixel art works really well too. Can't wait to see more of this and the comic!

Hey, thanks for playing! I'm sorry to hear that, I'll look into the bug when I have some time.
Very Based Game
